BOWLING -The side have been kept busy and following a superb away win at Tenbury Wells, three days later suffered defeat at the hands of a strong Ledbury side. On Monday they hosted a Herefordshire Presidents Select Team, featuring the current England's Women Bowling captain, Tracey Powell, who, as Tracey Jones, started her bowling career at Eardisland, winning the Ladies Singles title three times in the early 1990's. The visitors were just too strong and despite a winning rink, with skip Robin Williams, went down fighting, beaten by twenty shots. On Wednesday the side travelled to Brimfield for a triples match, battling well before going down by just five shots. Skip Jonathon Farndon, playing with Alan Holloway and Jayne Carr, played superbly to win their rink eighteen shots to twelve.
