DEMONSTRATION – On Friday 5th February there was a demonstration by about 25 parishioners near the only riverside footpath in the parish which was closed by Herefordshire Council 10 years ago because allegedly, it  was unsafe.
There were complaints that no action has been taken to repair and reopen it.

PARISH COUNCIL – the next meeting of the Parish Council will take place in the Village Hall on Thursday 25th February at 7.30.pm
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting.

NEW RECTOR - The Reverend Dr. Robert Taylor has been appointed as Rector of Kingsland, Eardisland, Aymestry and Leinthall Earles  and the induction service will take place at Kingsland on March 17th at 7.30 pm.   Everyone welcome to attend the service.  

COFFEE MORNING – The Twinning Association will hold a coffee morning on Saturday 27th February 10am – 12 md  to raise funds for the group who will be visiting Eardisland in the summer.   Everyone welcome.

BIG BREAKFAST – this will be a fund raising event for the village church on Saturday March 13th from 8.00 am – 1.00 pm.   A wide variety  of  breakfasts and beverages will be on offer.

EARDISLAND COMMUNITY SHOP – Volunteers are needed for the shop which will be opening in the Dovecote in late March.  Contact Albert Sheffield on 01544 388026

QUIZ - Kingsland  Group WI quiz at Eardisland Village Hall on Wednesday 3rd March at 7p.m. starting with a jacket potatoe supper with various fillings. Tickets £5.00 available from Mavis Tantrum on 01568 387972  Teams of four people and everyone  welcome.
