Planning meeting 21st June at 7pm in the Church
Many of us met some weeks ago to start the planning processes necessary to run a Fete at Glan Arrow on the 14 July this year. Those of you who were not involved in previous meetings are now being invited to join the team because we need as much help as we can get and you all have a lot to offer! The idea is that any money raised will go towards meeting the running costs of the church (approx £18Kpa ).
There are lots of ideas and offers about, but we now need to convert them into an action plan; to ensure we take ownership ( where appropriate); to ensure we have enough “workers” to cover tentage requirements and so on .
The aim on the day is certainly to raise money for the church, but as important, to provide a good event for villagers and guests of all ages to enjoy.
We have left calling this meeting until after the Jubilee weekend and Open Gardens in order to give some breathing space, but we now need to move on. We hope you will be able to make the meeting and please bring anyone else who is interested in helping or who has good ideas !
