Our band was formed back in 2003 and has rehearsed regularly since then. Over a dozen local people have played with us since this time (incorporating a wide selection of instruments and ages) - some preferring to play from music, some liking to play by ear.
We have played at many village events including: The Christmas Supper; The River Festival; Fetes on the recreation ground; ceilidhs both in the Village Hall and the Great Hall at Burton Court. We are very grateful to the Eardisland Community Millennium Fund for the financial support which has enabled us to rehearse in the Village Hall each month, purchase music stands and buy a selection of music from which we are building our repertoire.
