Staick House

The name Staick is thought to derive from 'stank', meaning to dam. There may have been a crossing point of the River Arrow near the house, prior to the building of a bridge. The earliest part of the house dates from the 14th century. Later additions in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries make this one of Eardisland's most interesting timber framed buildings.
